You’re the King… now what?

last day of W

January 19th, 2009

You can’t help but feel it. I awoke today in a crowded apartment in the historic foggy bottom district of Washington DC and the feeling was tangible. I’m sure this was helped by the copious amounts of the History Channel we watched that profiled president after president with specials on MLK and RFK on loop all day. But as I sat down to write this article I couldn’t help but remember that these are our last hours of the Bush administration. And although it would take much more time than I have to describe my feelings on these last eight years I will say that he definitely created the atmosphere that allowed for tomorrows historic moment.

So thanks George W. Bush. Enjoy Texas.
