tumble and fall
February 11th, 2009It’s not like I needed anything else added to my plate right now. But since I’ve started this 100 blog march I’ve realized how much more to being a blogger there is than just coming up with good content. And since having an independent blog doesn’t give me the benifits of a community like I would on Blogger I’ve decided I need to branch out.
This of course left me with a plethora of options to consider. Should I start refocusing on my photography and try and work the flickr community, or should I try and make my daily life sound interesting and twitter? After a bit of research and friend polling I decided that I would do neither and start a Tumblr account.
For those of you not familar Tumblr is a microblogging site. One of the key things I realized about this blog was that I still have pretty high standards for what warrants a post, even after I started posting every day. But with the ammount of time I spend online there are constantly things I find randomly that I love but have nothing to do with. After signing up last night I almost immediately had 4 posts just based on things on the top of my head. The ease of use astounded me and the interface is one of the best I’ve encountered on the web. If you don’t have Tumbr I implore you to get it.
So now I’m going to be tumbling constantly and I hope those of you that follow this blog will take the time to visit me there as well. Because I love to tumble… but I would prefer not to fall.
